For approximately 2 years now, I have been making Ukrainian Eggs (Pysanky). I started this when a friend introduced me to the art two Easters ago. I picked up the skill very quickly and found that I really enjoyed it.
After a few weeks, I acquired the specific tools used to cover the eggs in wax before they are dyed in colors
increasing in darkness. I have accumulated various shades and have improved on my skills.
Now that I am making more eggs, I have decided to display them on the Internet so that others can enjoy them too. My earlier ones are not too complicated, with the exception of my first 3 eggs, (which are shown as the first six pictures below). However, they get more detailed as I get better.
There are 44 eggs in total, shown in 88 pictures since I show two views. This is so you can see the border as well as the front.
