Each category of surface offers several styles and colors.
If you would like a quote, it is best to bring in our send us your floor plan/drawing showing the back wall
measurements. We also offer estimates and will come to your house to measure and give you a quote. Once you

The following section will describe the different countertop choices, provide you with a checklist, and
give an example of how to measure your kitchen:
Roll-Top
This type of counter includes a rounded front edge, available in 2 profiles (regular and slanted),
and three backsplash options.
Standard roll-top is 25 1/2" deep, while vanity depth is 22 1/2". This includes your choice of either
3 1/2", 1", or no backsplash. The nature of the design with this counter requires that L-shape areas show a
vertical seam/join-line. If you would like the entire counter seamless, you might check out our regular
laminate counter section. In that case, the largest your section could be without seams would have to be
included in a 5x12 foot section.

Standard Laminate
This section offers the greatest range of customizable options, such as the type of edge and the optional
backsplash. Base pricing starts with a standard self edge where the surface meets the side at 90 degrees
with the same laminate material. Our wood bevelled edge is similar to self edge, including a small bevel
showing wood with your choice of stain. Taking the bevel one step further, you can opt to have the laminate
material used along the bevelled surface.
Our laminate is available in several brands including Formica, Wilsonart, Nevarmar, Arborite, and Pionite.
Each offers a wide selection of colors and patterns, in addition to the finish. Finishes range from matte,
sparkle, and honed, to a glossy surface. Prices vary depending on finish type.

Solid Surface Edging
If you would like something more distinctive, you might select a solid surface edge accent. This is a great
way to mix and match colors, and give your counter that added punch and sophistication. Whether your select
a complimentary match, or a sharp black contrast, this option is sure to dazzle visitors in your home.
Once you have decided on your counter, you have the flexibility of omitting the splash and tiling yourself,
or having us make one to the height of your choice.
Solid surface material works best as an accent, but for those of you who wish to have your entire counter made
from a more durable, hard surface, you might want to take a look at our next section. It is possible to have
an entire counter made of Corian, but in the current market, this is even more expensive than granite. Solid
surface is actually a man made material. As with granite, it is possible to scratch and damage it. If you are
keen on updating your kitchen and are not sure which material to use, we suggest you stick with granite and get
the value and natural beauty for your money.

Granite
Nothing beats the shiny gloss and perfection of granite. Whether you redo your entire kitchen, or decide to
have an island focal point, granite is definitely an excellent feature to add to your kitchen. Edge types vary
and include bullnose, eased, and routed. If you would like a quote, please bring in the required dimensions
and select the color(s). Price varies depending on size of rock in the design, under mount sink cutouts, edges
to finish (such as island), and if you require a backsplash (any height).
Granite tops come in different thickness depending on the complexity of the edge design. The double layer is
the most common.
